Worry Free Bear Canister Purchase Program for PCT Thru-hikers

BearVault is proud to offer a new service for PCT thru-hikers which replaces the rental program which is being discontinued due to high shipping costs. This service provides a full size Sierra approved BearVault bear resistant food canister for pickup at Kennedy Meadows, Tuolumne Meadows or Echo Lake.

This service is only available for PCT hikers picking up their full size canister at one of the locations above; we will not ship to any other locations.

BearVault would require the hiker to give an estimated arrival date; we would send the BearVault to arrive no more than 14 days beforehand. 

Pricing is $65 (payable by check with your reservation) which includes all shipping.
